HELP us help your children…
We are currently accepting applications for the East End Child Care Center’s (EECCC) board of directors. EECCC is a non-profit corporation that is primarily comprised of parents of children enrolled at Milestones and is responsible for all issues related to the physical premises of the facility as well as the administration of the center. The EECCC Board of Directors contracts with a licensed child care provider (i.e. Aimee Walker, owner of Milestones) to provide services to children enrolled at the center.
Responsibilities include:
Oversight and guidance of our wonderful licensed care provider (Milestones).
Annual review of alterations to the rate structure for tuition.
Input and problem solving regarding matters that impact our children’s safety and wellbeing.
Fundraising for equipment and supplies that aid in the kids’ overall experience at Milestones.
Contribution to ongoing events such as our annual Taco Night.
Typically these responsibilities result in board members time of 2-5 hours/month.
This is a great opportunity to participate in your child’s care at Milestones O Street and meet other parents in the process.
